Those of you who know Barbara, one of the founding and managing partners of Hightower Wealth Advisors | St. Louis, know that she doesn’t typically take no for an answer. But over her 30-year career, she has had to be both tenacious and relentless in conquering hurdles.

This award is well-deserved, recognizing Barbara’s depth of knowledge built over her 30-year career. As a woman in this industry, Barbara is very familiar with the roadblocks women of all ages face when it comes to finances. These roadblocks are often both internal and external. For example, the financial services industry is missing out on $700 billion a year by not meeting the financial needs and expectations of women. On the flip side, women may have skewed ideas about finances and building wealth that can lead to a lack of self-confidence when it comes to financial knowledge.
